The lodge took an astonishing ten years to build, as during development many original Incan archaeological ruins were discovered. Painstakingly the lodge’s adept restoration team have partnered with the Archaeology Institute of Peru to maintain and incorporate the Incan ruins, transforming the 17th-century colonial house into a historical journey full of comforting spaces, treatment rooms, saunas, and a swimming pool, where guests can recharge after their explorations.
