Flores Tours
Wildly beautiful Flores has inexplicably been overshadowed by its more famous neighbors in the Indonesian archipelago, with the attention it does receive mainly focused on the booming port town of Labuan Bajo, gateway for the Komodo National Park and world-class diving and marine life. Many, however, are slowly discovering Flores has much to offer, not least, spectacular raw beauty devoid of crowds, extending from smouldering volcanic peaks and terraced rice fields to deserted white sand beaches and emerald-green coral fringes.
Flores tours offer plenty to see and do, be it for culture, history, nature or adventure. Highlights include exploring Mount Kelimutu and its fabled tri-colored crater lakes, or remote traditional villages, especially Wae Rebo Village, home of the Manggarai ethnic peoples and their extraordinary, conical-shaped dwellings.
